High Impact Polystyrene sheets, also referred to as HIPS Styrene Sheets, is considered an industry standard thermoplastic. It is a stiff, tough plastic material that Polymershapes carries that is widely used in the creation of models and lower heat applications. Styrene Sheets (HIPS Sheet) is a low cost, odorless, and non-toxic plastic sheet is used for indoor signs and lithographs, prototypes, packaging, and toys. It is the appropriate material where costs need to be kept low. High Impact Polystyrene sheets are made of material engineered from polystyrene resins. The translucent white, natural type of HIPS Sheet is FDA compliant for use in food processing. High Impact Polystyrene sheets are fully recyclable.

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene Sheets
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene sheets (ABS Sheets) is an amorphous thermoplastic material that features a continuous use temperature range of -4° F (-20° C) to 176° F (80° C).ABS Styrene Sheets are also categorized as a standard material, and they are tough, impact resistant, and easy to fabricate and thermoform. ABS Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene Sheets are hardier than HIPS Sheets. They offer impact strength, a high melt strength making them easy to thermoform. They are very easy to deep draw thermoform.
